Today I tried out the new Facebook annnouncements function. I made a post and decided to pay the small amount facebook asks to post this to the home page of all my followers/subscribers.
It cost me a whole $1.40.

Could be really powerful for marketing or just getting your message or opinion out there, or really annoying in the hands of the wrong people.
